It is the mission of The Adrian H. Wallace Barber Academy to provide a quality post-secondary barber education in practical skills necessary for licensure and employment success. The campus is conveniently located in the Fairfield and 9th Ave. Plaza, just a few minutes away from Cordova Mall and can easily be accessed via I-110. The campus occupies approximately 2,400 square feet of floor space.

The AHW Barber Academy is excited to see you join our barber school so you can begin your new career. In order to apply to AHW Barber Academy students must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Possess one of the following:
  • High School Diploma
  • GED Certificate
  • State Issued Credential of Secondary School Completion if Home-Schooled
• Pay Non-refundable $100 Application Fee

Prior to starting class, students MUST complete the following. We cannot process your application until we have received ALL items listed above:

• Proof of Education
• Application
• Signed Student Enrollment Agreement

Students must first submit a completed application with a $100 non-refundable application fee to The AHW Barber Academy for review.  Applications will be screened to determine if the applicant meets the necessary requirements.

Classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis, according to the date and completion of the application and other documents received.  The AHW Barber Academy holds to the standard of NO discrimination in admission, instruction, and graduation policies on basis of race, ethnic origin, age, sex, religion and financial status.

Once applicants have been approved, potential students must complete and sign the Student Enrollment Agreement prior to attending class.
