PHYX Device Repair & Sales was started in September 2015 in a spare bedroom in the Founder’s parents’ apartment in Springfield MA. The Founder had just come back to the USA from serving in the United States Peace Corps in West Africa.

In need of a job with meaning and personal interest, the Founder started fixing iPhones in the apartment after his day job, and quickly expanded into a 96 sq ft cubicle space at the Scibelli Enterprise Center at 1 Federal Street in Springfield MA in 2016. It was there that the business started servicing iPads, Androids, and computer equipment.

PHYX spent about 2 years in the 96 sq ft cubicle as they built clientele and continued to serve the community’s needs.

On June 1, 2020, PHYX upgraded and moved to their current location at 95 Mill Street in Springfield, which is where they will be operating for the next 3 years. Here, they have a sprawling office space, even more showroom real estate, and bigger work areas.

They now have the capacity to take on more projects and work for their customers. They hope to keep expanding and keep serving the needs of the local community and those who come from great distances to see them. PHYX is truly a small local business and they appreciate your support in helping them be what they are today!

For all of our repair customers, please contact us directly for any questions at all about our device repair services. At the time of your call or consultation we can provide you with more accurate repair pricing. Our pricing always includes both the cost of parts and the cost of labor to repair your device. We can also repair a device, tablet, phone or computer if you have already purchased the parts and bring it to us. However, this cannot happen if the part purchased is not correct for the installation.
